Stephanie Manasseh

Founder

Stephanie Manasseh is an art advisor and curator from Montreal, Canada. Stephanie earned her degree from McGill University and went on to further her studies at Sotheby's Institute and Goldsmiths in London. In 2006, Stephanie founded the Accessible Art Fair (ACAF) offering unaffiliated artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a high- end art fair setting. In the corporate sector, she was responsible for developing and implementing the Art & Design Sessions for BMW in Belgium where she showcased artists such as Terry O'Neill and Mark Lagrange, to name a few. Her expertise in the art world has brought her ongoing professional partnerships with international brands such as American Express and The New York Times, BMW, Montblanc, Tiffany, Alfa Romeo and recently with The Bicester Shopping Collection. Launching SM Art Advisory over 16 years ago, Stephanie offers her expertise to all types of clients from sourcing art to strategy consulting to helping clients with concept creation and development. In 2021, Stephanie was appointed as curator of the Sol Lewitt exhibition at the Jewish Museum of Belgium and is currently advising the Jewish museum of Amsterdam on their upcoming LeWitt exhibition set to open in October 2023. Stephanie has close contact with the LeWitt family and also facilitated a Sol LeWitt Wall Drawing at Berkshire House. Stephanie has been working with Berkshire House since 2018 and oversees communications, sponsorships, and special projects. She is based in Brussels and consults internationally. She has two wonderful teenage daughters who she has been dragging to museums and art fairs since their birth.

Madeleine is a graduate of Art History and Philosophy from McGill University. She is passionate about giving voice to emerging and overlooked artists from diverse backgrounds. Working with museums and private collections, she has gained experience in industry expectations and development. A firm believer that art deserves to be seen and enjoyed, she cares deeply about finding the perfect home and environment for every piece. As the editor-in-chief of Canvas Journal, she published scholarship from early-career art historians and discovered an aptitude for editorial work. Madeleine loves fostering relationships between creators, researcher, and collectors in order to facilitate accessibility and bring art to wider audiences.
